The New Jersey Center on Deafblindness (NJCDB) is a statewide project that provides expert support for the unique educational needs of students who are Deafblind, their families, and school personnel.
Process for Requesting Technical Assistance and/or Support
- Complete the NJCDB Referral Form to request information on technical assistance. Once the referral request is complete, an NJCDB project staff member will contact you and follow up on the initial request. To determine if NJCDB is able to provide your agency or your family technical assistance, we will ask to have the following forms completed:
All completed forms can be emailed to email@example.com or any member of our project staff.
Once all paperwork is completed, an NJCDB project staff member will reach out to collect additional information such as audiological and vision records as well as the etiology of a child’s deafblindness and meet with the individual(s) making the request. During this meeting, NJCDB project staff member(s) will review the information provided and recommend technical assistance based on the initial request. NJCDB project staff will also provide additional information on other agencies or organizations that may be helpful.
